Cachebox for Android

On Cachebox's start screen you can see (among others) the release number, the signal strength of your GPS, your current position and the and coordinates of the selected cache.

If your device is connected to the internet, you can update the number of your finds, likewise the website of the currently selected cache can be accessed by tapping on the GC-code.

Via the menu-button (cog) you can access the settings and may change from day-mode to night-mode. In night-mode, the map-view is displayed in black and red and most of the lists and monitoring elements are being darkened or inverted.

On the following pages the functionality of Cachebox for Android is explained

  • The main controlling elements are the 5 buttons located at the bottom of the display.

  • Cachebox serves as a mobile database for managing your caches. As a matter of fact, this doesn't work without data import.

  • Navigation does play an essential role in Cachebox. Anything associated with the map is explained here.

  • There's nothing like a proper configuration. Setup can be configured here.
